Leasowes Extra, are currently looking for a Play Worker to join their team.

The position is for 11 hours per week with an immediate start date.

Hours of work are one hour before school (7.45 to 8.45 a.m.) three days per week, and two hours after school (3.00 to 5.00 p.m.) four days per week. The afternoon hours must include a Tuesday and Thursday.

Working with children aged 3 to 7, this is a term time only role.

No qualifications are required, however, experience of working with children in a similar setting would be an advantage.

At Turning Point, they support people with Learning Disabilities across England. As a Support Worker, you will make a real difference to residents' lives as you improve their daily living skills. Passionate about people, you will enjoy the scope and support to enhance your own life and career too, as you gain the experience and training you need to progress. This is a hands-on job in which no two days are the same.

Their services in Stafford provide a 24-hour supported living facility in providing care for adults with Learning Disabilities. They accommodate up to 8 people with mild to complex Learning Disabilities. They tailor services to enable people to be as independent as possible.

Shift Patterns

This is a 24-hour service, therefore flexibility is essential. You will be working a range of shifts including nights and some weekends.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Salary: £20,298 to £24,684 a year (£20,298 37 hours & £24,684 45 hours)  / £10.52 per hour
