Neil Kitchin will be leaving Stafford Rangers in style at the end of the season after bringing home the Staffs Senior cup after a nail biting finish at the Bet365 Stadium.

Stafford Rangers managed to pull off a win on a cold rainy night in stoke against local rivals Hednesford Town. Rangers were quick to take the lead after a goal from Jack Sherratt fired into the top corner before Hednesford equalised just before the break.

The second half was no easy game with Hednesford looking the better side for most of the half, before Perry headed one in from a corner to make it 2-1. Early celebrations quickly turned to nerves when Thompson-Brown put the rangers 3-1 ahead with only minuets to go before Hednesford snatched one back and went on the attack.

Stafford Rangers held out strong to finish the game 3-2.

Adam Whitehouse made his 200th appearance for Stafford Rangers in the game pulling off some incredible saves to keep Stafford Rangers in the game.

A great way for Neil to end his run as manager and someone who the fans will remember for a long time.
