Online ticket sales for this year’s Staffordshire County Show are at an all time high.
Around 50 per cent more tickets have been sold for the half term agricultural show, on May 30 and 31, via the show’s website than this time last year.
Richard Williams, Chief Executive of the Staffordshire and Birmingham Agricultural
Society, said they have seen a lot of interest in this year’s big attraction.
“We have had a great response since we announced that one of our main ring attractions is the JCB Dancing Diggers,” he said.
“They are a real crowd puller for all members of the family and it looks like people are eager to make sure they see the amazing display.
“There has also been a lot of interaction on our Facebook page – a lot of people are finding out about the Show online now and spreading the word too, so we are very pleased that this has translated into online ticket sales as well.
“We generally expect to see sales peak in the two weeks prior to the Show so the fact that people are buying tickets so far in advance of the Show is very encouraging.”
Tickets can be bought online at until May 24 or from the Showground Office until May 25.
