Steve Burr has been appointed as the new manager of Stafford Rangers. The former Boro player, who had two spells at Marston Road in the 1980s and 1990s, has taken over from Neil Kitching, who left the club at the weekend after a largely successful four year spell. Steve who’s managed at Kidderminster Harriers, Chester FC, Southport and Stalybridge Celtic will bring Andy Fern with him as part of his backroom team, which will be added to by the end of the month. Ray Crowther chatted to Steve shortly after the press conference and you can hear the full interview with new Rangers boss Steve Burr on Ray’s show this Saturday from 11am and also the full press conference, with questions from fans, on The Tuesday Night Sports Sandwhich with Matt Sargeant and Ellie Brogan from 7pm.
