In an announcement on Facebook, the struggling hospice based in Stafford have announced they will be closing 4 of their 22 shops due to the financial impact of Covid-19

The statement on their page reads:

“We are extremely sorry to announce that due to the financial impact of the pandemic four of our shops will be closing soon.

Our Stone and Littleworth shops will be closing in October.

Stone – closes Saturday 3 October – closing down sale now on
Littleworth – closing down sale begins Monday 12 October – shop closes on Saturday 17 October.

Cannock Market Place and Norton Canes closures are to be confirmed.

We would like to pay tribute to all our staff who have worked supremely hard during this difficult period. A huge thank you also goes out to all our customers, supporters and volunteers for such valued support over the years.”

The hospice continues to run a Just Giving page to raise £1,000,000 to save the hospice.
