Wow what a buzz as 2000 competitors take on a Swim, bike and run event like no other! Stafford town is alive with noise as the worlds most prestigious triathlon event arrives in the county town. Stafforshire is the first race of the British series with the event moving to Edinburgh in a few weeks.

The race was delayed by 1 hour this morning at Chasewater after race officials deemed it unsafe due to high levels of fog.

The fog soon lifted and the race started under near perfect conditions with the water temperature sitting at 18.5 degrees and the air temperature at 22 degrees.

The winner of the Pro Mens race was Elliot Smales in a time of 03:59:23
